The School House’s homeschool curriculum serves learners from Pre-K through 8th grade, generally including children about ages 3 to 12. Writing instruction is integrated into the broader American Emergent Curriculum, so activities can develop alongside a learner’s reading, inquiry, and subject-area knowledge. The curriculum is organized in eight-week sessions, allowing children time to engage deeply with each topic.

Parents and other home educators receive access to more than 400 educator training films designed to explain the curriculum and support lesson delivery. The membership also includes live weekly educator and founder support sessions with question-and-answer opportunities, recorded sessions for later viewing, and separately scheduled office hours. These resources help families prepare lessons and build confidence as they teach.

Enrollment includes the complete curriculum in eight-week sessions, educator training films, printables and lesson materials, Transparent Classroom progress and portfolio tools, live weekly support, and access to the School House Member Community. A digital welcome box is also provided at signup. Physical TSH Materials Boxes are optional purchases and are not included in the base curriculum subscription.

The School House uses Transparent Classroom as a progress and portfolio-tracking tool. Families can use it to record completed work and create an organized picture of each learner’s development over the school year. The curriculum model asks the parent or educator to first learn the material, teach it in a prepared environment, and then track progress through the personalized reporting system.

The homeschool curriculum is priced per learner. Families may choose 10 monthly payments of $125 during the school year or pay $1,200 upfront for the full year. Both options include the same curriculum, training films, printables, progress tools, live support, and member-community access. Optional physical materials boxes are available separately for families who want additional hands-on resources.
