At The School House, consulting support is built into the homeschool experience through educator training films, live weekly support sessions, office hours, a member community, and progress tools. These resources help parents move from planning lessons to confidently guiding and documenting their child’s learning.

The School House homeschool program offers the American Emergent Curriculum for learners from Pre-K through eighth grade, generally serving children about ages 3 to 12. The curriculum is organized into eight-week sessions that let families explore subjects in depth. Parents can use the included training resources and lesson materials to adapt pacing and daily routines to their learner’s developmental needs.

Enrollment includes the complete curriculum delivered in eight-week sessions, more than 400 educator training films, custom printables and lesson materials, Transparent Classroom progress and portfolio tools, live weekly educator support, and access to the School House member community. Families also receive ongoing updates and a digital welcome box. Physical TSH Materials Boxes are optional and purchased separately.

The homeschool program costs $125 per month per learner for 10 monthly payments during the school year, or $1,200 per learner when paid annually. Both options include the same curriculum, training films, printables, progress tools, weekly support, and member community access. Pricing is per child, and optional physical TSH Materials Boxes are available separately.

No formal teaching background is required to use the program. The School House provides more than 400 training films to help parents understand the material and prepare lessons before teaching them. Live weekly support sessions, office hours, printable resources, and the member community give families additional places to ask questions, share ideas, and build confidence as home educators.

The American Emergent Curriculum is designed to connect subjects rather than present them as isolated blocks. Reading, writing, math, and science are woven together with entrepreneurship, civics, gratitude, kindness, and art when appropriate to the lesson. This interdisciplinary approach is intended to help children see relationships between ideas while engaging with meaningful themes and hands-on learning experiences.

Families can use Transparent Classroom, the program’s progress and portfolio tool, to record each learner’s work and development. Keeping a portfolio creates an organized picture of learning over time and supports families who want clear documentation of completed work. The included reporting approach helps parents monitor progress while maintaining a personalized record of their child’s educational experience.

Yes. The School House serves homeschooling families throughout the United States through its online curriculum, training films, live support, and member community. Because learning takes place at home, families can access the program without living near a physical School House location. Registration is completed online, and support resources are designed to connect enrolled families wherever they live.
