The School House homeschool program serves learners from Pre-K through 8th grade, generally including children about ages 3 to 12. Its American Emergent Curriculum is structured to support age-appropriate learning while keeping subjects connected. Families receive complete curriculum sessions, teaching guidance, printables, progress tools, and access to live support designed for the home education setting.

The curriculum is delivered in 8-week sessions that allow families to spend sustained time exploring topics rather than quickly moving between disconnected units. Each session includes curriculum content, custom printables and lesson materials, plus parent-facing training resources. This structure gives home educators a clear framework while leaving room to establish a daily or weekly rhythm that works for their household.

No formal teaching credential is described as a requirement. The program is designed to support parents and home educators with more than 400 training films that explain how to deliver lessons. Families can also attend live weekly educator and founder support sessions, use scheduled office hours, and connect with the member community when they need practical guidance or encouragement.

The American Emergent Curriculum weaves reading, writing, math, and science together with entrepreneurship, civics, art, gratitude, kindness, and other connected themes. This integrated design helps children recognize how knowledge applies across subjects instead of treating every discipline as separate. History-oriented learning can therefore include literature, discussion, creative work, and civic ideas in the same broader learning experience.

Enrolled families can use Transparent Classroom, The School House’s progress and portfolio-tracking tool, to document learning over time. The system supports personalized reporting and helps parents keep organized records of completed work and learner development. Combined with curriculum materials and printables, it gives families a practical way to maintain a portfolio that reflects their child’s educational journey.

The monthly plan is $125 per learner for 10 monthly payments during the school year. The annual plan is $1,200 per learner, paid upfront for the full school year. Both options include the same curriculum, training films, printables, Transparent Classroom, live weekly support, and member community access. Optional physical materials boxes are available separately.

The program is secular in orientation and emphasizes character, kindness, and connected learning. It is also designed to be screen-minimal for children, using physical learning activities, printables, and a prepared home environment. Digital resources primarily support the parent or educator through training films, progress tracking, live sessions, recorded support, and community access.
