Homeschool World Geography Curriculum for Connected Learning

Enrollment includes complete curriculum delivered in 8-week sessions, 400+ educator training films, printable lesson materials, Transparent Classroom for progress and portfolio tracking, live weekly educator support, and access to The School House member community. The School House Homeschool program serves learners from Pre-K through 8th grade, generally children around ages 3 to 12. Its American Emergent Curriculum is designed to meet children through connected, age-appropriate learning experiences rather than relying on isolated subjects. Families can use the program to build a structured home learning environment across the school year.

World geography is taught as part of an interconnected curriculum rather than as a stand-alone memorization subject. Lessons can connect places and cultures with reading, writing, science, art, entrepreneurship, civics, gratitude, and kindness. This approach helps learners see relationships among ideas while developing knowledge of the world, its people, and their role in communities.

The monthly plan is $125 per learner for 10 monthly payments during the school year. The annual plan is $1,200 per learner when paid upfront. Both plans include the same curriculum, training films, printables, Transparent Classroom, live weekly support, and member community access. Optional physical TSH Materials Boxes are available separately.

No formal teaching experience is required. The program includes more than 400 educator training films that help parents prepare for and deliver lessons. Families also have access to live weekly support sessions with Q&A, recorded sessions for later viewing, scheduled office hours, curriculum guidance, and a member community for ongoing encouragement and practical ideas.

The curriculum is intentionally screen-minimal. While parents use online training films, support sessions, communications, and digital progress tools, children’s learning is centered on curriculum pages, printables, lesson materials, and a prepared environment at home. This design supports active participation, conversation, hands-on exploration, and deeper engagement with lesson topics beyond a screen.

Families use Transparent Classroom, the program’s progress and portfolio-tracking tool, to document each learner’s work and development. The system supports personalized reporting throughout the school year, helping parents keep organized records of completed learning experiences. It is designed to complement the curriculum’s teaching model and make it easier to observe and communicate a child’s growth.

Yes. The School House offers its Homeschool program to families nationwide in the United States. Registration is available online, and enrolled families receive digital curriculum access, educator training, live weekly support, portfolio tools, and community access. The program is structured so parents can deliver the curriculum in their own home learning environments.
