The School House Homeschool program is designed for learners from Pre-K through 8th grade, generally serving children around ages 3 to 12. Its American Emergent Curriculum is structured in eight-week sessions and supports development across subjects. Parents can use the included educator training films and lesson materials to adapt pacing, discussion, and hands-on learning to their child’s readiness.

Physical science is taught as part of an interconnected curriculum rather than as an isolated subject. Lessons can link scientific exploration with reading, writing, math, art, entrepreneurship, civics, gratitude, and kindness. This approach helps learners see relationships between ideas while building observation, questioning, reasoning, and communication skills. Eight-week sessions give families room to explore topics in greater depth.

The monthly plan costs $125 per learner for 10 monthly payments during the school year. The annual plan costs $1,200 per learner when paid upfront for the full school year. The included curriculum features are the same under both payment options. Pricing is per child, and optional physical TSH Materials Boxes are purchased separately if your family wants them.

Families use Transparent Classroom, the program’s online progress and portfolio-tracking tool, to document learning and maintain personalized records. The tool supports the final stage of The School House’s model: learn the material, teach it in a prepared home environment, then track progress.
