Michelle is a nature-lover, snowboarder, and yogi who is here to help children explore the world in an insightful manner.
Michelle knew from an early age that she wanted to help people. When Michelle had to decide what to do with her future career, she knew that she must become a teacher. She believes that all children should have access to a safe and caring learning environment because it will ignite a love and desire to continuously learn.
Michelle obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University where she studied Elementary Education with a focus on educating English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE). She volunteered at a local child development center at that time.
Michelle's professional experience took place in a research-based school including kindergarten through sixth grades. This gave Michelle the opportunity to help expose a wide range of students to many relevant strategies, structures and programs while observing their personal and academic growth. Michelle is an active educator who works to ensure that all learners are prepared for the challenging and highly competitive world they will enter after their academic career.
